Job Description:
Responsibilities include creating 3D data, layouts and drawings; calculating and controlling component parts cost and weight, mechanical design and managing part development of electrical parts (Radios, switches, instrument clusters and other audio components). Additional responsibilities will include coordinating development projects from initial concept to mass production, cost and weight down activities, quality improvement activities, research themes, and quality improvement.
Job Requirements:
BSME/EE and a minimum of 1 year experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Background should include electrical design experience, drafting, CATIA V5, vendor support/negotiation and manufacturing support. Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical software) and excellent communication/interpersonal skills required. Ability to travel and work overtime may be required.
