Job Description: Responsibilities include making 3D designs and 2D layouts; calculating and controlling component parts cost and weight, and managing surface development for Automotive Chassis Components (Tire/Suspension and Axle/Wheel). Candidate will also be responsible for working within a fixed schedule and managing their own as well as other’s schedules, verifying drawings and working on product quality projects. |
Job Requirements: BSME and a minimum of 1 year experience in an automotive drafting or design capacity or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Background should include drafting, CATIA, vendor support/negotiation and manufacturing support. Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical software) and excellent communication/interpersonal skills required. Ability to travel and work overtime may be required.
