Job Description: Responsibilities include recommending new strategies and processes to improve product verification capability and efficiency. This activity requires the analysis and implementation of commercial CAE and CAT software, data management and process integration that meet Honda’s internal needs. It also requires leading projects to develop new CAE and CAT tools or the customization of commercially available software to meet Honda's needs. Additional responsibilities include supervising the support of Design and Test Engineers with new and existing product verification tools. This also requires managing outside support services that provide the on-site guidance with software or testing application questions. Other responsibilities include managing projects for advanced technology investigation that can be implemented to improve analysis and testing methods. |
Job Requirements: BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering and a minimum of 8 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Qualified candidate must have experience with Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) or Testing (CAT) Experience and programming or scripting skill required. Experience with DB2, Oracle, MySQL or SQL desired. Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical software) and excellent communication/interpersonal skills required. Ability to travel and work overtime may be required..
