Job Description:
Responsibilities include consecutive and simultaneous technical interpretation for technical and business related meetings and translation of technical documents (engineering, computer systems, scientific, chemistry, business and accounting, etc.) accurately and in a timely manner. Additional responsibilities will include Interpretation of scheduled evaluation/presentation meetings, facilitating various company meetings and maintaining department equipment (Headset/Microphone, TV Conference System).
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess a Bachelors degree in Business, Linguistics or related field and a minimum of 5 years experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A high level of Japanese/English verbal and written skills (Japanese to English and English to Japanese) and experience in automotive-related interpreting/translation is preferred. Candidate will be expected to accurately and quickly interpret and translate with minimal assistance. Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical software) and excellent communication/interpersonal skills required. Ability to travel and work overtime may be required.
