Job Description: Responsibilities will include applying engineering principles and practices in the planning, design, construction, installation and maintenance of R&D test equipment and facilities. This would include field application of electrical engineering principles for high/low voltage and instrumentation, preparing construction related documents and coordinating contractor and supplier activities for compliance, applicable codes and industry standards. Additional responsibilities will include developing new facilities to support various testing equipment, developing specifications, making purchases and installing various equipment to support automotive testing requirements. Candidate will also be responsible for developing, tracking and taking action to maintain schedules for equipment installation. |
Job Requirements: BSEE and a minimum of 1 year experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Ability to translate electrical engineering principles into actual equipment and construction practices required. Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical software) and excellent communication/interpersonal skills required. Ability to travel and work overtime may be required.
