Job Description: Responsibilities include developing multibody simulation solutions for vehicle dynamics development. Activities include researching and developing Adams/Car customizations to improve model correlation to test data; conducting DOE experiments to identify performance sensitivity to chassis specs; and supervising contract staff to develop these improvements or experiments. These responsibilities require daily interaction with the contractors and weekly reporting to the requestors. This position is responsible to manage individually short- and long-term projects, to troubleshoot issues with the software, and to provide technical guidance to contract staff working on these projects. |
Job Requirements: BSME and a minimum of 5 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Expertise with MSC Adams/Car software is required. Experience incorporating flexible bodies in Adams and customizations is preferred (GSEs, Mechatronics, custom virtual testrigs, etc.) Experience managing projects is required (supervisory experience preferred). Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical software) and excellent communication/interpersonal skills required. Ability to travel and work overtime may be required.
