Job Description:
Responsibilities include making 3D designs and 2D layouts; calculating and controlling component parts, and managing surface development in the Under Body Design Group (Hood, Fender, Floors and Structure). Candidate will also be responsible for working within a fixed schedule and managing their own as well as other’s schedules, verifying drawings and working on product quality projects. Additional responsibilities will include managing development projects and coordinating with other departments, suppliers and manufacturing.
Job Requirements:
BSME and a minimum of 8 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Background should include engineering layout, drafting, CATIA, vendor support/negotiation and manufacturing support. Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical software) and excellent communication/interpersonal skills required. Ability to travel and work overtime may be required.
