Job Description:
Engineer will test complete ATV units as well as drivetrain components per Honda requirements. Responsibilities include data acquisition, stress analysis, fatigue life calculation, functional testing, shaft and gear strength analysis and clutch system evaluation. Activities will include planning, vehicle set-up, component removal/installation, troubleshooting, testing, data acquisition/analysis and reporting. Engineer will work with various groups during the development cycle and occasionally test off-site. |
Job Requirements:
BSME degree and a minimum of 1 year experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in the Powersports industry required. Data acquisition, Catia, CAE analysis and experience with MTS controllers and Instron test equipment desired. ATV riding experience and hands on mechanical skills are a plus. Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical software), excellent communication/interpersonal skills and the ability to travel and work overtime as project load increases required.
