Job Description: In this position, you will be working in the early stages of product development on cross-functional teams comprised of stylists, market researchers and engineers to create and plan full model change (FMC) directions. Analyzing the existing model (and related market/consumer conditions) through PDCA, SWOT, primary research, etc. Creating new product concept proposals within the structure of existing product/technology strategies. Devising tangible new product targets through interpretation of consumer needs/wants as well as report concept/product proposals directly to Senior Executives and development teams on a regular basis. Overtime and travel as required by projects. |
Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Product Design, Product Development or related field. 2+ years of related experience in product planning and/or product development as well as knowledge of the automotive industry. Understand the relationship between product concept and development objectives. Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills. Must have the ability to work creatively in a challenging environment and willingness to ascend new learning curves.
