Job Description: Responsibilities include creating specifications and validation for engine performance during prototype stages. Heavy involvement in conducting advanced unit engine dyno testing, data analysis and complete vehicle testing. Candidate will be responsible for project management, developing countermeasures, completing final reports, meeting schedule deadlines, project coordination, test equipment maintenance/repair and facilities planning and development.
Job Requirements: BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 1 year related experience in the transportation industry or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Knowledge of data acquisition systems and experience with simulation software (MATLAB, LABVIEW) desired. A strong technical background in the area of vehicle or unit engine testing a strong plus. Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical software) and excellent communication/interpersonal skills required. Ability to travel and work overtime may be required.
