Job Description:
Responsibilities include testing Honda products in their prototype stages to meet our requirements, performing bench engine and vehicle verification focusing on guaranteeing engine and exhaust reliability. This will include performing stress and failure analysis on engine parts, analyzing data, summarizing results, developing planning targets and specifications, collaborating with suppliers and expanding research capabilities. Additional responsibilities include developing countermeasures, completing final reports, meeting schedule deadlines, project coordination, test equipment maintenance/repair and facilities planning and development. |
Job Requirements:
BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years related experience in the transportation industry or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience with maintenance/repair of complex machinery, knowledge of data acquisition systems (temperature, pressure, vibration) and experience with simulation software (MATLAB, LABVIEW) desired. Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical software) and excellent communication/interpersonal skills required. Ability to travel and work overtime may be required.
