Job Description:
Responsibilities will include drive shaft durability and performance testing. Bench and actual vehicle testing of drive shaft components, writing evaluation reports, working with suppliers regarding component development, support of mass production facilities and working on or with development teams. Additional responsibilities will include competitive vehicle evaluation, operation of a dynamometer and Powertrain simulator, instrumentation and recording data with in-vehicle test equipment and some travel to off-site testing in environmentally severe conditions. |
Job Requirements:
BSME with 1-3 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Previous hands-on transmission/ 4WD systems experience a plus. Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical software), daisyLab, LabView or similar software and excellent communication/interpersonal skills required. Ability to travel and work overtime may be required.
