Job Description: Responsibilities include testing Automotive Steering Systems in their prototype stages to meet Honda and Project requirements. Testing will be primarily lab based; High Temperature Dyno, Low Temperature Chamber, pump and gearbox component test rigs. Some on-road full vehicle testing will also be required. Responsible for project management, creating test plans, instrumentation, performing tests, analyzing data, creating and presenting final reports. Candidate will also be to conduct investigations of new Steering technologies and their feasibility for application to future Honda products. Additional responsibilities will include supervision of associates, test equipment maintenance/repair, facilities planning and development. |
Job Requirements: BSME and minimum 5 years experience with data acquisitions and hydraulic steering systems or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Knowledge of noise and vibration analysis ( i.e LMS software) desired. Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical software) and excellent communication/interpersonal skills required. Ability to travel and work overtime may be required. |
